, the results are always impressive. The HTC HD mini is certainly no exception. Boasting such features as a five mega pixel digital camera, social networking integration and super fast Internet access it is easy to see the appeal of this compact handset.

Functionality also abounds with a pocket office (word, excel, PowerPoint, one note and PDF compatible) and voice memo recorder.
Effective handsfree communication is made possible thanks to the inclusion of a 3.5 mm audio Jack and a built in speakerphone system. Users are alerted to incoming calls and text messages thanks to a combination of vibration and ringing, and have the option to assign MP3 and WAV files as ringtones. This allows customisation of the handset to take place so users can hear whatever song they choose whenever the phone rings.
Internal memory is 384 MB RAM along with 512 MB ROM. A micro SD card slot is provided which can accommodate a card of up to 32 GB allowing plenty of storage for digital music collections, video clips, photos and documents etc. The internal phonebook is capable of storing a vast number of contacts and includes the ever popular Photocall function. This is whereby a photo is assigned to a particular contact and any time that person calls that photo is then displayed on the screen.
As the name suggests the HTC HD mini is certainly a compact handset. Its dimensions are 103.8x 57.7x 11.7mm making it ideally sized for comfort of use whilst its slimline profile and light weight of 110 g make it a pocket friendly handset. The TFT capacitive touchscreen measures 3.2 inches and boasts the capability to display up to 65K colours within 320x 480 pixels providing excellent quality display of on screen content.
The built in digital camera boasts five mega pixels and its pixel resolution equates to high quality still images whilst the inclusion of Autofocus and touch focus dramatically simplify the task of taking great snapshots. The camera can also shoot video at 30 frames per second (VGA quality) offering an alternative method of image capture which is of similarly high quality to still pictures.
The HTC HD mini is provided with a number of connectivity features so the optimum connections are maintained dependent upon location and network coverage. Cellular networks are connected to via class 10 versions of both EDGE & GPRS. In areas covered by 3G, access to the Internet is provided via an HSDPA connection at 7.2 mega bytes per second (along with HSUPA at 2 MB per second). A faster Internet connection can be attained however, whenever the handset detects a signal from a wireless Internet router. In this situation, Wi-Fi connectivity kicks in utilising the signal, allowing users to surf the web at broadband speeds. Bluetooth and USB connections complete the connectivity list.
