Can you still remember when was the last time you used a traditional means of communication such as snail mail to send message to a friend or a loved one who is in a far location? Most probably, it was a long time ago. This is due to the fact that you can now send to almost everyone instantaneously everyone who can access the internet. Sending emails has become a major way to send and receive messages across the globe because of the speed that it offers. After you have clicked the "send" button, the recipient of the message would then receive the email or IM (instant message) almost instantaneously.
Internet is one of the major things that ever happened to our civilization because it enabled everyone to connect to each other without getting through much hassles and inconveniences. Internet has really changed the way we live today. Before, if we want to buy something we have to go to a shop by either walking or driving (if it is far) but right now, we can shop even without standing up on our seats. Yes, you can buy almost everything with just a click of a mouse and a press of a button. The internet has also become a marketplace for many wherein they can trade and sell stuff online.
Although there have been many disadvantages that come with the internet, there are also what we call disadvantages. One of which is identity theft wherein one loses his or her identity to a total stranger which can be used for fraudulent purposes. This is becoming very alarming since a lot of people are being affected by it.
But always remember that internet is here for us to use in the right way and not the other way around.
