The Importance Associated With The Correct Plumbing

, then the professionals you employed to do the work have a duty of care to ensure the job is done right, and in accordance with the plans that your architect has taken many hours drawing and, planning to the last detail. I took on a project manager for my kitchen and extension build, as I work away from home and the wife did not want the overhaul responsibility, in case anything went wrong with the build or builders. We did not have long to wait before an emergency call was made to myself by my wife at home, in three centimeters of water in the kitchen. I contacted the guy next door who managed to turn off the water in the street. I called the project manager who went straight away to ascertain how bad the damage was and what the problem is. He called me to inform me the plumbing was to blame. He went on to inform me the main water feed to the house had been reduced from a large pipe to a more manageable thirteen millimeter plastic system, that now runs the entire water delivery system, and it has come off at the junction.

We had the main plumbing sub-contractor visit and they had to make some pretty drastic changes to the plumbing and put right all the damage which included all of our new appliances and solid wood floors on the entire lower ground floor level.

It was discovered they cut a few corners to save time and money so this now puts the quality of the entire build in question, as it does the ethics of the project manager. I had a separate plumbing and building quality inspector visit at my expense. He wrote a comprehensive report on the short fall of the plumbing and stated 100% the plan was not followed. I am now about to sue the project manager for damages that run into tens of thousands of pounds. Best get those insurance details out mate!
