Apart from the note books and reference materials, these bags contain other stuffs like pencil boxes, lunch boxes, and other study materials. Due to this, students often face backaches or pain in their spinal cord.

These bags have now also become style statements. In the earlier days, the tradition of carrying school stuff was different. When I was in my elementary class, I used to carry all my books and note books in a suit case type aluminum box. Those boxes were heavy and it was difficult to carry them. These boxes were to be hold by hand. When I joined my middle school, mom bought me a school bag. That bag gave me relief from that bulky aluminum box. In this age, even a preschooler doesnt want to carry such box.

The school stationery manufacturing industries are now coming up with new school bags that give comfort to the students on the one hand, and also have enough space to accommodate the study materials. We often dont show much concern about school bags, but these are an integral part of the academic life of a student. When a child carries a bulky school back, we feel pity for the child. As it is said that the taste of a woman can be judged from her handbag, and the students are not an exception to this.

Along with a neat school uniform and pair of shoes, a good bag adds to the appearance of the student. So it is important to keep in mind some issues that can help parents in choosing right bag for their kids. These are shortly discussed below:-Consider the childs age before buying the school bag. Primary class students cant carry a bulky bag on their back. So the bag should be light and not too much big in size.
