The Importance Of Confidence And Self-esteem In Attracting Your Ideal Relationship.

Self-esteem is probably the easiest thing to raise

. All you have to do is find the source to tell you that you are worth it and believe it. It can either be in the form of affirmation or someone you trust can tell you yes, you are worth it. If you want it you can have it all. As soon as you start believing you deserve it, your self-esteem goes up and you feel great about yourself. Confidence is all about believing that you can actually get what you deserve. This is true about any area of your life but let's focus on your ideal relationship. How strong is your belief that you deserve to be loved by a wonderful man or a woman whom you absolutely adore? If you believe that you're worth it, great. Now ask yourself, can you have it? How possible is it for you to attract this kind of relationship? That's your confidence. Sometimes having someone tell you that it is possible or having affirmations on your mirror is not enough to have a high confidence. Sometimes we actually need the proof in order to believe it ourselves.

So now that you know what you want and what you're worth, you start believing in yourself. You start telling yourself, if I am worth it, I can go out there and get what I deserve. What does it take? So you go out there and start dating, looking for your Mister or Miss Right. You join several online dating sites, go to a speed-dating event, maybe even ask your friends to introduce you to someone. Six months later you're still single. Thus, comes the time when things get hard. You are not getting your proof and your confidence level drops significantly while your self-esteem is still relatively high. This is the time when most people throw in the towel, because they start believing that they can't have what they know they deserve. That's how people get bitter, frustrated, outraged or depressed. Understandably so, because it does seem unfair. If I deserve to be happy in life, to have all the things I want, to be in a loving relationship, why can't I have it? This kind of disappointment can be so impactful for some people, they never want to feel the pain like this ever again. That's why they chose to stay put instead and try to find the comfort and content with what they have. But the bitterness will always be there because deep inside they will always know that they are worth so much more.

So what do we do? How do we overcome this? The answer is simple. Don't give up. Don't give up after 6 months; don't give up after 2 years or even 5 if that's how long it takes. Keep believing even if you don't have the evidence to prove it right now. And most importantly, don't let this so called evidence affect your self-esteem or even your confidence. Because if you do, you are believing a lie. This proof is not accurate and it is not a reflection of who you are. Believe your gut feeling before you chose to believe what other people tell you. It is never in our power to know when our wish will be granted, but we can decide to keep going and keep wishing. This is how we manifest our dreams. Because if that's what we chose to do, eventually our wish will be granted. Just tell yourself, it will happen eventually and it will happen sooner than you think.
