You should buy a TV screen protector that has a screen that is at least a quarter of an inch thick. You will find that the cheap models and brands cut costs by not having a thick enough screen, and the result is that they offer a lot less protection. Also, be sure to get that leaves a little space between the TV screen and the protector screen, as otherwise you may find that your protector actually ends up damaging your TV screen instead of protecting it. Again, this is only an issue with cheap screen protectors though.
