All the paraphernalia that leave or enter the home repeatedly require a mudroom or entryway for storage

. Morning stress caused by running around the house looking for car keys, a backpack or letter that needs to get mailed can be eliminated by a well-planned mudroom. It is where to leave boots or get out of wet clothing, so dirt is not tracked throughout the house. It allows more useful space for coats, gloves, etc when a side door is used, than a front door closet.
