Sometimes there may be an aspiring actor in the organization that is willing to take on the main role, but on the whole, the people who you see in corporate films will be paid actors who have been briefed about the work to be undertaken.

The genres that are covered by modern corporate films are vast, with companies parodying comedies or even old black and white and cartoons to promote their business. Some fail spectacularly, and the transition of ideas from the boardroom to the cutting room falls short of expectations. Some become memorable works of art that the company re-uses for years to come. This difference in quality tends to be down to the amount of money and time available, and the clarity of the proposal from the corporation.

Those who have a clear goal in mind of promoting their company in an amusing, serious or artistic way will create much better corporate films than those people looking to become the next Spielberg or Cameron.
