There has been a tremendous boom in the past few years with the integration of the internet and network marketing together as a marketing platform

To be honest, for the most part, when you start to make the transition to internet network marketing, you will think that in no way will it work, and that it is some sort of scam, I know I did. After all, why has the industry been telling us that the warm marketing approach is best, as it has worked for years! Well, that technique only works because you are taking advantage of the trust you have with others you have met over the years. This is the quickest, and to be quite honest here, laziest way to grow your business, as you really don't need to develop any skills here, just go out and endlessly chat about your products and business opportunity.

Absolutely, old school warm market network marketing does work, but it takes a long long time, and truth be told, times do change and what works to attract new customers and clients changes over time. That really is the core of why must at least pay attention to bringing together the internet and network marketing. It takes even longer now, as people spend less time together, and more time online.

Why you might ask? It has to do with our culture today, at least here in the United States. Years ago, it WAS news to hear about a "way to earn extra money, or quit your job" and there was virtually zero competition for peoples attention. Now, with the ever increasing influx of advertising, media around 24/7, and tons of other competing priorities, it is now more important than ever to be at the forefront of peoples minds. That, and be where people hang out now.

Essentially what you are doing with this newer approach is just putting yourself where your prospects are, getting where the action is. Why wouldn't you want to get in front of where your best customers are and market directly to their pains and frustrations? People spend less time communicating in the written letter or on the phone, and more time posting on social media sites.

The thing that make the internet and network marketing so darn awesome is that you can actually specifically target those people who most need, and are actually looking for what you have to offer. Do this, instead of getting out there and pounding the pavement with people who don't even like what you are offering
