The rise of what is now called the blogosphere in the past five years has caused major upheavals in world of journalism. But if you were to look at the listings of blogs from around the world you will find that most blogs are dedicated to a very specific target audience.

One of the most intriguing audiences is luxury watch enthusiasts. Fans of Michael Kors Watches, Invicta watches for men, and other luxury brands are coming together on different blogs to compare stories, show off collections and simply be a part of something that can be labeled an online community.

In the past decade, we have seen a dramatic change in the way customers search and buy watches. However there is criticism of these online bloggers from some key players in the watch industry. Many of the writers are fans of the brand and are not professional writers. These sites allow users to comment about their own personal experiences for all to see. Something that would have been unheard of just a decade ago. Consumers looking to buy new Invicta Russian diver watch or trying to find a good deal on some Michael Kors Women's watches don't need to walk around searching for a store that will carry their luxury watch. All they need is to go to the website that has the best deal and find their brand.

Despite becoming influential in the industry, blogs are still coping with the lack of professional writers in the field. Some of that stems from the lack of funding. This means that they cannot afford professional writers. But as the industry adapts we may see blog sponsorships by companies that have an interest in promoting luxury watches as a leading retail industry market.
