The Iphone 4s Compared With The Sensation From Htc

. Earlier in the year the HTC Sensation gave the iPhone 4 a good run for its money and actually outshone the Apple device in many areas. We see how the HTC compares with Apples latest introduction.

The HTC Sensation offers users a high quality digital still camera together with exceptional video recording features. An 8 mega pixel camera offers a great image quality and the facility also sports a number of features which assist you in taking a superb photograph. An LED Flash is on hand for indoor shots or when lighting is less than ideal. The camera also offers an autofocus to help your snap look as sharp as it possibly can. Against the iPhone 4 this feature came out on top but things have changed a little with the iPhone 4S as it offers a camera far superior to its predecessor. A 60% increase in resolution pushes the total pixel count up to 8million which is the same as the Sensation but the better optics used on the Apple phone result in a better picture. An LED flash is also present but may not be needed as much as the phone also offers a larger aperture than the previous model resulting in clearer images in poor light. Both of these phones offer full HD video capture at a resolution of 1080P. This sort of standard offers superb quality footage but can prove quite draining on the phones storage capacity. The HTC Sensation offers a built in capacity of just 1GB but a micro SD card slot enables you to increase this to 32GB if required. The iPhone 4S does lack a micro SD slot but the phone comes with three different levels of internal storage of 16GB, 32GB and 64GB.

The is no question that both of these models offer exceptional build quality as you would expect from two of the top brands around. The iPhone 4S measures 115.2 x 58.6 x 9.3mm and is constructed from two sheets of toughened glass that are available in either a black or a white finish. This models feels much more compact than many of its rival models despite still offering a good sized 3.5 inch display. The HTC Sensation measures a larger 126.1 x 65.4 x 11.3mm and features a metallic back panel that looks and feels great. At 148 grammes in weight the phone is not the lightest but this extra weight gives a sense of quality when being handled. The HTC Sensation uses a larger screen than the iPhone 4S at 4.3 inches. This display offers a high quality of image thanks to a great resolution of 540 x 960 pixels combined with the excellent S-LCD technology that helps produce both vivid and natural colours. Despite the prowess of the HTC Screen it can not match the superb Retina display found on the Apple. At 940 x 960 the screen offers a higher pixel density than any other model that is available and is undoubtedly the king of the smartphone screens.

The HTC Sensation compared well against the original iPhone 4 but the updates present on the new iPhone 4S ensure that Apple have once again grabbed a stranglehold on the smartphone industry.
