In the foothills of the mighty Himalayas lie Indias oldest and the world renowned wildlife sanctuary the Jim Corbett National Park

. It is located in the beautiful city of (Nainital) Ram Nagar in the state of Uttarakhand.

It derives its name from Jim Corbett a hunter who turned into a conservationist. Jim Corbett played a pivotal role in the establishment of the Jim Corbett National Park in the year 1936.

It was formerly known as Hailey National park.
