Going out to the movies is something most people like to do but some are rethinking
this leisure past time because of the high costs associated with it. And that is not even considering all the additional expenses outside of the cost of the movie. There is finding a good parking location, then the snacks are required and they are way overpriced, with all of this going to an amusement park doesn't seem expensive anymore.
Also going to the movies means dealing with strangers who still have no idea how to act properly while in a movie house. They continue after all this time to be inconsiderate, not thinking about the others all around them. As the technology advances and everyone has a cell phone and other portable electronics this seems to make the situation worse. Sometimes it appears some people think they are the only ones in the theater.
These are the reasons as to why many people are establishing home theater systems. When you do that then you have the movie experience in your own house, and the costs and difficulty have decreased over time. All the prices on the technology required for setting one up have decreased a lot over the last few years so most people can afford a high def television and a surround sound system for their home.
An even better arrangement is that with either the DVD or a Blu-ray player the picture is even better than the theater offers and you can have a better quality of sound. The only thing necessary to to gather the right components, making the right choices for your particular setting and requirements. Like if you are going to have this system in a smaller room you won't need the largest TV and sound system made. A reasonably sized system will be just as good for a smaller room. In addition if there will be some video games played you want the HD television and the surround sound system because they increase the joy factor in games.
So the moral is if you watch movies at home, you save money. You can buy DVD's and Blu-rays for less than you can take the family to the movies. Plus you get to keep them and watch them whenever you want to. And you do not have to worry about talking kids and teenagers, you can send them to their rooms if they are not quiet and you never have to worry about sticky floors.
