The Kabbalah of Christopher Columbus

The Kabbalah of Christopher Columbus

The American Library of Congress has one of four original copies of what is called the Columbus Codex. This document is the original agreement between Columbus and the Spanish crown prior to his leaving for America.

The symbol affixed by Columbus as signatory to the document is a Kabalistic monogram in Hebrew, Latin and Greek and according to the writer Jose Rodrigues Dos Santos, author of the historical novel Codex 632, it contains two secret names: Cristobal Colon and Salvador Fernando Zarco.

Salvador Fernando Zarco is taken to be the birth name of Columbus and the idea expressed by Dos Santos is that he was a Jew. Whether or notthis is true,Columbus was certainly well versed in Jewish mysticism, specifically the Kabala. Besides the Kabalistic signet, another sign indicating he was Jewish is his use of the initials for "B'Ezrat Ha Shem," or "with God's help" in letters to his son Diego.

The case for a Jewish Columbus appears quite strong on the surface but its important to keep in mind with this utterly astonishing man that nothing is ever quite as it seems.

He does indeed display a strong knowledge of Jewish mysticism, including Jewish chronology but the symbolism he uses in the new world is strongly Christian, not only on the obvious level of place names, but at a deeper, esoteric level as well. He was deeply committed to what appears to be a personal cult of the Trinity for example,

The research of Manuel Rosa has established with some authority that the explorer was a member of a neo-Templar order called the Templar Order of Christ whose head was king John II of Portugal.

Anew discovery has shown that, beyond any doubt, Columbuswas acting secretly on behalf of King John II during the time of the voyage of discovery. This new discovery also emphaticallydemonstrates his Christian esoteric bent.

In fact, Columbus may actually have considered himself above religions in the sense they are usually understood. This would be typical of someone deeply versed in true esotericism.

It appears he was interested only in the use of the symbolism of any given religion for the purpose of personal spiritual advancement as well as to communicate, using that symbolism.

What he was communicating and how is the subject of the new discovery already mentioned. It involves the use of deception to achieve an unheard of level of certainty in the authenticity of the message conveyed by bypassing the forces in history that tend to distort the record in their own favor. This need to communicate the truth explains a lot about why there is so much mystery surrounding Columbus.

I recommend a closer look at this man and his message. It is well worth the effort and time.
