Kenneth Copeland Ministry was founded by Ken Copeland

, a native of Lubbock, Texas and a used-to-be recording artist. The whole concept came about when Ken Copeland met a co-pilot in the name of Oral Roberts, who is also the founder of a university he enrolled in. Oral Roberts had greatly influenced Ken Copeland to realizing his own Christian ministry and push through along its principles.

It was in the 1970s, when it has been established also in countries like Canada, Australia, United Kingdom, Africa and Ukraine. At that time, Kenneth Copeland used the television to promote the organization, until it was popular in 1979. It has gathered a tremendous number of followers. In fact, even the prison-inmates of some 23 countries worldwide await their program entitled Believer's Voice of Victory.

In the face of popularity as a writer, televangelist and the founder of these ministries, he still was subjected under condemnation by some of the analysts. They questioned his true intentions and would link up his objectives to the likes of money-spinning and earthly agendas.

For the past few years, it has gathered numerous followers from over 120 countries. Improvements were observed in broken families, and some prominent people from the politics and entertainment arena, became members. Facilities and service centers were formed to house orphans and abandoned children. This step earned praises and supports from established social bodies especially the church.

After a decade, the Ministry had produced trained counselors who reach out to individuals to educate and uphold moral values and help cleanse their lives and maintain Christianity at its best. Each unit of the society were properly addressed and given special attention especially the youth and those couple who need spiritual renewal.

Later still, they had trained counselors who takes care of lost individuals and to further educate and introduce moral values to them. These individuals mostly come from the population of the youth and adults who are currently involved in a relationship.

Adult-counseling is also practiced by the ministry. On the first few years, they focus more on recovering defunct relationships between couples, for this seemed to be the root cause of broken home, child rebellion and violence in general. Extra attention was given, especially to the ones who subject themselves to just following the written principles of the organization but forget the essence of its totality and existence. Issues about prosperity and faith were also encountered particularly from the poor and aptly dealt with Bible-reading sessions to facilitate total spiritual mending.

Apart from its objectives is that the ministry aimed to modify from time to time its basic principles into healthier and meaningful inscriptions practiced by a body of committed individuals. To date, it has formulated a conviction that made numbers of its followers create a profound direction in their lives. Evangelism indeed became a basic foundation of the Kenneth Copeland Ministries.
