The Latest Sony Ericsson Handset-the Vivaz Pro

Sony Ericsson have taken their popular Vivaz handset

, added a full Qwerty keypad and named the handset the Vivaz Pro.

Sony Ericsson handsets are renowned for there excellent multimedia facilities and the Vivaz Pro is certainly no exception. The handsets trump card is its excellent video recording facilities. Capable of shooting footage in High Definition, the phone films in 720P resolution at a rate of 24 frames per second. Thanks to the continuous autofocus the movie always looks sharp, and the addition of a video light means even when lighting conditions are bad, a good quality is still maintained. When it comes to capturing a still image the Vivaz Pro still performs very well. The 5 mega pixel camera comes with a host of beneficial features. Autofocus is backed up by face and smile detection, allowing the camera to automatically focus on faces within the frame. Geotagging means the phone will automatically store location information on where the photo is taken thanks to the handsets global positioning. Audio files are also well catered for. A wide range of audio formats are supported including MP3, WMA, WAV and M4A. An FM RDS tuner gives a nice alternative to your own files, allowing the user to listen to local or national radio stations. With a 3.5mm headphone jack a choice of headphones can be used on the handset, giving the listener the ultimate music experience.

The Sony Ericsson Vivaz Pro has excellent battery life. A Li-Po standard battery gives over 5 hours talk time for 3G users and offers 440 hours in standby. 75MB of internal memory is installed on the phone, however thanks to a microSD card slot this can be expanded to 16GB, with an 8GB card provided in the box. For local connectivity Bluetooth allows wireless data transfer with compatible devices and a micro USB means easy connection to a personal computer. For more mobile connectivity the phone has excellent specification with GPRS, 3G and EDGE all supported, giving the ultimate coverage whilst on the move, and WiFi give the best experience whilst connected to your own network. Sony Ericsson have installed applications fro both Twitter and Facebook in acknowledgement of the boom in social networking sites. Google maps and the Wisepilot application means you have no excuse to ever get lost again.

With the Sony Ericsson Vivaz Pro due for launch this summer, it certainly gives people keen on messaging, photography or general smartphone fans plenty to look forward to. A stylish look and excellent screen and a full Qwerty keypad complete what is an excellent all round mobile phone package.
