The London Dungeon Marks 35 Years with a Bloody Brilliant Summer of Scare
This summer, The London Dungeon promises a whole host of frightening fun bringing
centuries of history's horrible bits to life through a special Summer of Scare celebration.
As the original scare attraction in the UK, The London Dungeon remains a great place to visit if you are looking for things to do in London during a holiday break. And this year, to celebrate its 35th birthday, The London Dungeon's scare experts are treating guests to some special birthday surprises including Pass the Putrid Parcel with a plague infested peasant, try and stay deathly still in their Musi-Kill Statues game or see how low you can go in Limb-o-less.
New for 2010 is Bloody Mary:Killer Queen. Special effects conjure up the sights, screams and overwhelming stench of fiery execution as another helpless "heretic" endures one of the most painful deaths known to man being slowly burnt alive. For those spared, there's plenty more twisted humour and frightening fun to be seen with thirteen other twisted experiences from the Victorian stomping ground of Jack the Ripper to Sweeney Todd's barber shop and London's bloodiest operating theatre on show.
As one of the most popular London attractions, The London Dungeon London features exhibits about various tortures from the Medieval Age and uses a mixture of live actors, special effects and rides to recreate gory and macabre historical events, particularly appealing to younger audiences.
