The Loss Of Your Prime And The Inevitable Demise Of Your Body Is Harsh Reality
As you leave your thirties behind things are happening to your body each and every day
. It is losing its strength and energy, quietly stockpiling fat, and shredding its lean muscle tissue at an alarming rate. You might be experiencing things like a widening waistline or finding it hard to climb a flight of stairs without huffing and puffing. These changes extend beyond just the physical and start to affect mental and emotional health as well.
But the majority of people do will not even consider the inevitable loss of their prime and the inevitable demise of their body until they are closer to mid life. But by the time the harsh reality of this situation really hits home this decline has been in progress and gaining momentum for years (maybe decades).
Unfortunately it is common to confuse these symptoms as being part of the natural course of aging as we see others around us lose their physical function and become weak, frail and eventually unable to even do the most basic necessities of living and life.
It does not make it any easier or helpful that most well-meaning doctors support this mistaken belief also. We have been conditioned for our entire life that we must anticipate and accept that these symptoms are to be expected - and most likely ideally resolved with a handy-dandy prescription for a drug for every occasion.
The truth of the matter is that many of the declines we experience as the years pass are not related to the actual aging process at all, but can be blamed on an overall unhealthy lifestyle. Leading a sedentary lifestyle without enough proper exercise can cause much more damage to overall health than the aging process.
Without enough proper muscle building and maintaining activity you will be losing one half pound of muscle tissue each year which will cost you your strength and agility which can mean the last 10-15 years of your life can be spent in the disability zone. With a proper exercise program you can reduce or eliminate the number of years spent in this zone dependent on others.
Most people today realize the benefits of getting the proper amount of needed exercise supported with good nutrition. And good nutrition mostly means eliminating as many processed foods from your diet as possible and replacing them with natural whole foods cooked from scratch.
When you exercise regularly and vigorously you have better blood circulation and your body is better equipped to absorb needed nutrients from the food you eat. When you look after the strength of your muscles you slow the normal aging process, reduce risk of killer diseases and look and feel much younger - not just a little bit younger but a whole lot younger.
So for a small amount of time each week - just 2-3 sessions of strength training you get so much back in return to not only extend your life but make those extra years a higher
quality. This means you can enjoy better physical well-being and energy to live life fully.
