Flying has become a major project. Sure you can get to your destination in an hour or two if you fly, but if you are taking a two hour flight on a commercial airline, you could be spending a day to do so. Spending seven to eight hours to fly for two seems extremely absurd and that is if there are no delays.

The process begins with the distance one has to travel to get to the airport. For some remote areas, this can be a long drive. Most airlines expect you to arrive and check in at least one hour before your flight departs. With the new stringent security rules its necessary to tack on an additional hour. If valet parking is not an option, consider additional time to search for a parking space. Then there is always the wait to board the plane and that's even if the fight arrives on time which most of the time it doesn't.

After flying to your destination for about two hours, you will then wait to depart your flight, get off the plane and find your way through the crowded airport to the baggage claim, where you will patiently wait to pick up your bags; you will then head to your destination which will probably take about another hour or so.

Do the math. The average two hour flight has become an all day excursion leaving you tired even before getting to the final destination. Wouldn't it be great if you can skip all that waiting time? That wish can be fulfilled just by booking a private jet charter flight. Smaller planes mean departures from closer, non commercial airports.
