If designing your site specifically to attract more women, keep in mind that women are increasingly savvy about online environments. They want to know their information is secure, they want to be able to navigate a site easily and they demand easy return and refund policies.

If you have any doubts regarding the purchasing power of women in the next decade or so, remember that the Baby Boomer generation is entering retirement with plenty of cash to spend. Women continue to outlive men and are the primary spenders as couples age.
