When the wax has become hard, it is removed from the mold and a model similar to the original design is reproduced. The quality control analyst will then inspect the model. If it passes the quality tests, the model will then be placed inside a cylinder which will be filled with plaster. The cylinder needs to be subjected to vacuum to remove air. After that, it will be washed. The only thing that will be left is the cavity in which silver will be poured in. After all that, it will undergo polishing twice. That is making initial charm through molding.

Another way of making Initial Charms is to form letters from clay. This is the easier way to create charms. Even you can do it! All you need to do is to form a shape of the letters desired. Once you are satisfied with the design, you may heat it on the oven. Silver needs to be heated at higher temperatures than gold. After the silver hardens, polishing is done. Once the silver is polished, it can be readily sold in the markets!

These are only two ways of making Initial Charms , or charms in general. The second process is easier but actually the first process is the one that most craftsmen follow. It is because quality jewelries are done through the molding process. Even if that is the case, molded silver jewelries are also advantageous especially for beginners. You can easily form them into shapes because you are working on clay unlike molds, which require very skillful hands in order for your work to turn out good.
