Often times a patio will require a specific type of shade. Choosing one would depend on several things such as the size of the patio, if it has framing around it, the direction of the sun and/or breezes and other such items. These all need to be taken into consideration when making a choice.

These shades can be attached to the house or to the patio framework and very easily rolled up at the end of the season. Available in electric or manual controls they are very easy to handle and are protected from the winter weather.

For people who do not have a framed patio, some choose to go with a freestanding shade. This type of shade gives very good protection from the sun and leaves the sides open for cool breezes. Depending on the type purchased it sometimes is movable.

There is nothing that brings a family or friends into more personal contact that enjoying a comfortable time on the patio. Whether preparing and enjoying food or just having a cold drink and talking, it is an experience to remember. Adding to the comfort with patio shades brings it all into place.

Patio shades are available in almost any size desired and can even be made to order if desired. Some people attach these shades to the framework that covers the patio. This allows placing it where the sun or breeze appears most of the time. Of course, shades could be attached to all four sides allowing use of the appropriate one to fit the moment. There is no doubt that patio shades can add a great deal to the pleasures one enjoys when using the area for parties, simple family relaxation or on other occasions.
