. There are large, secure communities set up just for senior citizens to live in that have every modern convince. These communities are set up like a small village with everything in a short walking distance from their homes. Many large cities have built senior centers near senior living complexes. Which give the elderly a place where they can socialize in comfort with other seniors. There are state of the art medically equipped assistant living homes for the elderly with medical needs. This includes a twenty four hour a day, seven days a week skilled nursing staff. These assistant living facilities also have a recreational room, sitting room, and a living room setting for all their residents to have access to. Their assigned bedroom is set up like a very nice hotel room, in which they can add some of their own personal decor. Since the modernization of care homes and nursing facilities our elderly now have a better quality of life in their golden years.
