Some well reputable educational websites have recently been partnering with the National

Center for Fathering to offer numerous scholarships for single dads that are worth of millions of dollars. Those scholarships are parts of the newly established "Project working momsand dads too" campaign. The campaign is targeted to support working single mothers and dads so that they could return to school and have a better chance of improving the standards of living of themselves and their families.

The "Project working momsand dads too" is a progression of the successful antecedent campaigns; Working mom I and II which took place in the year 2008 and awarded about 100 educational grants for lucky working single mothers. The present campaign has included single dads to the mix and is now supported by five well reputable online educational institutions including Capella University, Ashford University, Virginia College, Everest University and Ashworth College.

Although statistics are showing that a high percentage of single mothers are fighting so that ends would meet as they can't afford college education, a high percentage of single dads are in the same shoes. The US Census Bureau has stated that only 16% of the 2.1 million single dads in the USA today have bachelors or higher degrees. Despite the fact that the number of single mothers in the United States is much larger than that of single dads, the percentage of single mothers with bachelors or higher degrees is nearly the same; only 15.5% of single mothers hold a college degree.

The National Centering for Fathering has always been focusing on helping fathers in every aspect of their lives. In accordance with Obama's newly boosted educational grants for single parents, the National Center for Fathering has launched a campaign to support more single dads apart from the federal grant. To apply for the scholarships, a single dad would only fill an application form and submit it with an essay describing his live and his dreams about the future of his career. Awarded scholarships will allow single dads to study online from home at any time of the day. The campaign perfectly meets the needs of busy working dads that are also much likely to spend most of their times at home.

The National Centre for Fathering scholarships for single dads are providing many opportunities for those dads who are eager to further their education and seek a better standard of living.
