The Newly Released Samsung Fascinate Lives Up To Its Name

The Samsung Fascinate, which is part of the Galaxy S line of Samsung cell phones

, now is available for Verizon Wireless customers. Other Galaxy S phones by Samsung, which are very similar in design and operation to the Fascinate, are offered by other carriers. The Fascinate runs with an Android operating system and one of its best features is a 4-inch Super AMOLED screen that makes it more visible in sunlight. The phone features a 5-megapixel camera with an LED flash and the capability of recording HD video. It can tether internet service up to five devices and has a notepad app for quick messages and a unified inbox and calendar. Other phone functions include conference calling, visual voice mail, speed dial, voice commands, chat view and text messaging. Verizon adds its own special features such as NFL Mobile, Skype Navigator, V Cast Music and Video and VZ Navigator.

Samsung Fascinate accessories include the standard cell phone items, but the Fascinate accessories clearly are better than average. The charging cradle includes a micro USB adapter so users can watch movies and listen to music during charging. A spare battery charging system has a Y-cable so both the phone battery and a spare battery can be charged at the same time. The car dock attaches to either the dashboard or the windshield so the phone can display turn-by-turn GPS directions. A high performance battery also is available as well as cases and covers.

Screen protectors are important for any cell phone and Samsung Fascinate Screen Protectors offer the best protection for the smart phone's screen from from any materials that may cause damage to the screen. With its touch screen, the Samsung Fascinate's screen attracts dirt faster than other phones without a touch screen. Users also will be able to rent movies and TV shows from Samsung's Media Hub, a service expected to be available soon. Pre-loaded apps on the Samsung Fascinate include Bing, Blockbuster on Demand, Kindle for Android and ThinkFree Office. When the phone is upgraded to Android 2.2, users will be able to store their applications on a memory card instead of being limited to the built-in memory.

Like the other Galaxy S phones, the Samsung Fascinate uses the TouchWiz 3.0 interface, which allows a variety of widgets to be added to up to seven home screens. With its ability to load video or mobile web sites in seconds and an impressive array of entertainment and other features, the Samsung Fascinate certainly is at the top of the list along with the iPhone and HTC phones.
