, especially its night markets, of which there are many. All and sundry are for sale at these markets, from international brand name products to handmade crafts.
Whether its the latest in electronic gadgets, designer fashion labels, traditional jewelry, exotic gems, locally made handicrafts, exotic antiques, tailor-made clothes, collectible souvenirs or even herbal health products, you name it and one of Bangkoks night markets will have it.

Yaowarat Road, Chinatown, is much more than a night market; in fact, almost anything can be found here at almost any hour of the day or night. This amazing 1-mile stretch has been here since the time of King Rama V and is a fascinating cultural area to wander whether you plan on buying anything or not.
Silom Night Market comes alive after dark, selling a wide range of items, some standard and others one-of-a-kind. There are shopping malls and boutiques as well as small stalls and vendors selling their wares. Patpong Night Market is also worth a browse for some of the more interesting items.
Siam Paradise Night Bazaar, located on Sukhumvit Road, opposite Sukhumvit 101/1, combines a variety of shops along one of Bangkoks main tourist boulevards. This is a good area to look for furniture, home dcor items, and fashion accessories. Several nice restaurants round out the area.

Rotfai Night Market is located on Rotfai Park, behind the famous Chatuchak weekend market. This market is renowned for the special finds one can come across here, mostly in the realm of things past: retro products, second-hand collectors items, and antiques of all sorts.
Ratchada Night Bazaar, easily accessible by the Ladphrao underground station, is a sprawling, bustling, piece of real estate cum market well worth a visit. Both old and new items can be found here, including designer items, jewelry, distinctive handmade goods, old CDs, and furnishings.
Ramkhamhaeng Night Market, located near the eponymous university, is a great place to head for budget items, popular as it is among students. Food is available everywhere, and the avenue lights up at night with countless stalls selling handicrafts, souvenirs, noodles, banana pancakes, cheap clothes, bus tickets, and much, much more. This market is an intriguing mix of local and foreign it is a tourist attraction now in its own right, and conveniently located for a meal or quick shop.
The Chatuchak Flower Night Market is located in the midst of the Weekend Market, but is open only one day a week, from about 10 pm on Tuesday night until late afternoon every Wednesday. Many folks in the know will drop by to indulge their senses in the ocean of flowers after midnight every Tuesday. Popular among landscape architects, flower lovers, and romantics young and old.
The Sukhumvit and Nana Night Markets are among the busiest in the metropolis, certainly among tourists. The most concentrated shopping takes place between Soi 3, or Nana Nua, up to Asok, Soi 21.
