The Nokia 6700 Slide Red Has All Favourite Contacts On The Home Screen

The Nokia 6700 Slide Red places all favourite contacts on the home screen so they

can be called with at the press of a button, or their latest messages or emails seen. The 5 megapixel camera offered on this handset also allows the user to share photos and videos instantly with friends through popular sharing services.

The handset provides customisable profiles, screeners, wallpapers and Themes for the user, to allow the user to adapt the phone to what they most use. It features full support for all email accounts including Exchange email and emails, calendar events and contacts can all be synchronised from Outlook. Other messaging includes instant messaging and concatenated (long) text messaging.

The phone runs Symbian operating system, version 9.3 on a slide form slim and lightweight design with a 2.2 inch display screen which includes an ambient light sensor and is capable of producing up to 16 million colours. Navigation is performed by the 5 way Navi key in the bottom centre of the handset (slide-in), accompanied by call, end-call, clear and an application keys. On slide out, it has a traditional mobile 14-key alpha numeric keypad.

The 6700 Slide as mentioned, features an impressive 5 megapixel main camera which is supported by a dedicated image capture key. The camera view finder is the full screen making it easier to take a perfect picture, also helped by the multiple light and colour image capture features that aid the Carl Zeiss optics further. It includes up to 8 times digital zoom on image capture, and up to 4 times when video recording, which is also supported by colour balance and a video light. Recording length is also restricted only to the memory available which internally is up to 60 megabytes, with microSd expandable memory offering up to 16 gigabytes for media.

Music is also offered through the Nseries Music Player which sorts music, can create playlists and allows selection of tracks by artist, album or genre. An FM radio with RDS is also present. As with all the many applications including the many popular social networking applications that this handset features, music, videos, widgets and applications can all be added through the Ovi Store which is accessible through the full XHTML web browser with mobile search and easy sharing of photos and videos captured.

The Nokia 6700 Slide Red provides a multimedia full handset including plenty of applications straight out of the box. This is all combined with a more unique and sleek design, which makes this handset and doubtless its user stand out fro the crowd.
