The Nokia C6 White offers a 3.2 inch resistive touch screen display with a full backlit
slide-out keyboard beneath and navigation keys offering fast input when messaging and emailing. It also has a powerful camera capable of capturing photos and videos of great moment which can then be shared with friends.
The Nokia Music Player offers the user seamless playlist creation and track sorting through album and artist alike and supports all major audio file formats for playback which can be enjoyed through headphones. Additionally there is an integrated FM stereo radio with RDS support for live music and news from anywhere.
The handset has a powerful email client which is able to be configured with mailboxes from any of the major email service providers, such as Google Mail, HotMail and Yahoo! Mail as well as private email accounts with personal websites or domain names. This is due to the support for the major email protocols POP3, IMAP4 and SMTP respectively.
Email attachments can be viewed with the document viewer, capable of opening Microsoft Office documents (Word, Excel and Powerpoint) and PDF files.
The C6 White runs the Cymbal 9.4 operating system with the S60 Fifth Edition touch user interface added for an enhanced experience from the renowned mobile phone manufacturer. The user interface is able to be automatically rotated between portrait and landscape orientation in conjunction with the rotation of the handset itself.
The phone has a 5 megapixel camera which can capture still images saving them to the handsets hot swappable microSD card memory (which can be up to 16 gigabytes of storage), in either the EXIF or JPEG image file formats. The camera is auto focus and has an integrated LED flash to provide greater light in poor light conditions when capturing both photos and videos. Videos clips can be recorded with a maximum length of 90 minutes each, and can be taken in widescreen (16:9) high-quality ratio. A secondary QCIF camera is also present for video calling.
The handset includes both integrated GPS and Assisted GPS antennae which offers automatic geotagging of photos and videos as well as location based services such as Google Maps and Ovi Maps which is free for the phones lifetime, and can offer navigation to the user by foot or vehicle.
