The Nokia C7 features simple gestures for easy touch control including pinch to zoom, flick to scroll and tap to select. The handset comes with an impressive 8 megapixel full focus camera for image capture and HD video clip recording among its many other features.
The phone offers a full HTML web browser featuring support for all the major Web languages including HTML and XHTML as well as support for Javascript and Flash web applications with the Flash Lite 4 able to support most Flash Player 10.1 (desktop) websites. There is also an RSS reader and Nokia Mobile Search as well as video streaming capabilities and unified access to social networks including Facebook and Twitter through one of the three customisable home screens offered. Social networking events are also automatically visible in the phone calendar.
The C7 features an 8 megapixel camera with 2x digital zoom for photo shots and 3x for video recording respectively. Video clips are shot in High Definition (HD) quality at up to 25 frames per second and 720 pixel resolution to provide the perfect quality picture when played back through the handsets vivid 3.5 inch capacitive touch screen display. The handset runs the Symbian 3 operating system for Nokia and supports updates over the air (FOTA and FOTI) and internet respectively. It features an impressive 8 gigabytes of internal storage memory in addition to offering a microSD card slot which supports up to 32 gigabytes of expandable memory at any time. Connectivity is offered through Bluetooth 3.0 and the microUSB connector for high-speed USB 2.0 and USB On-The-Go. There are also an FM radio and transmitter and 3.5mm AV connector present.
The handset also has both internal GPS and Assisted GPS antennae offering location based services including those provided through the integrated social networks, such as Facebook Places, and others. Ovi Maps is a preloaded application which provides you with free in-car and foot navigation, while the Wi-Fi positioning can tell you exactly here you are at anytime. Photos and videos also have automatic Geotagging and can be viewed based on location.
