The Nokia N8 is powered by Symbian 3 which has over 250 great features such as HD

video playback on a compatible and connected television, and easy organisation with three separate home screens. It also allows you to multitask easily with its visual task manger to help you switch between open applications with a single tap, without serious effect on the battery.

The handset has a stunning 12 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and an Xenon flash for poor light conditions. The camera is able to capture videos in High Definition (HD) which can then be edited and shared with friends all on this handset. You can add your own images, text, music and special transitions to create great videos on a phone. Images are also automatically captured in the correct orientation and pinch to zoom when taking a picture. Images can be edited on the handset too, and also instantly shared online.

The N8 has a touch user interface through its large 3.5 inch capacitive touch screen with 16:9 (widescreen) nHD (640 by 360 pixels) AMOLED resolution capable of displaying up to 16.7 million viid colours. There is a dedicated key for the Menu and the Camera and finger touch support for text input and control of the user interface, along with onscreen alphanumeric keypad and full keyboard.

The handset has both GPS and Assisted GPS receivers integrated, which allows it to automatically Geotag images and videos to their location and provide other location based services. The Ovi Maps application offers you free car and pedestrian navigation for the life of the phone, along with Wi-Fi positioning and a compass working with the accelerometer to ensure the correct orientation.

Music can be enjoyed with the music player which allows you to flick through the albums in your library to browse music and select the tracks you want to listen to. There is also an integrated stereo FM radio. Music can be played through headphones with thew 3.5mm jack connector or alternatively with a Bluetooth stereo wireless headset. The impressive bit rate is 320 kbps and the all major audio file formats are support including those from both Windows Media and iTunes respectively.

The Nokia N8 is a sleekly designed touch screen handset which offers a simple to use, yet powerful user interface and Symbian 3 operating system. The phone can run multiple applications at any one time, and includes many resourceful features, all in addition to its incredibly powerful 12 megapixel camera.
