The handset offers you the ability to see all of your contacts easily across the top of the Home Screen along with easy shortcuts to messages, music and games which is customisable. There is plenty of room for more music with downloads available from the Ovi Store, and the microSD card memory supporting up to 32 gigabytes, in addition to the 200 megabytes internal memory.

The X5 allows you to seamlessly browse the Web with a full HTML web browser and support for Flash from Flash Lite. There is also a Doc viewer for email attachments from the multiple email accounts which can be configured to the handset. With 3G HSDPA and Wi-Fi on offer, connectivity is never short. Social networking is also present with integrated Facebook, Twitter and MySpace alongside the instant messaging provided.

The music player provides you with easy referencing through albums, artists and genre and you can play music while performing other tasks such as text messaging or browsing the Web. The 3.5mm audio jack connection allows you to connect headphones for private listening too. Other connectivity offered includes Bluetooth 2.1 and microUSB 2.0 for file sharing with other compatible devices.

Despite its compact design the handset also manages to pack in an impressive 5 megapixel camera and an LED flash for image capture and video recording. With up to 4 times digital zoom, it is easy to produce a great picture from special moments or record events in a video clip. Images and videos can be instantly shared with friends and family through the social networking integrated applications, as well as multimedia messaging or email.
