The Nokia X6 features a 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics to instantly capture fantastic photos and create stunning videos

. It also has features to easily enjoy music, a wide display and social networking functionality.

The handset has a large 3.2 inch capacitive touch screen offering 640 by 360 (nHD) resolution and up to 16.7 million colours with the capability to display in 16:9 widescreen aspect ration and change orientation with the handset automatically due to the accelerometer which adapts the display on rotation of the handset.

Its design is classic, however offers a finger-operated touch screen user interface with touch input through an alphanumeric keypad and QWERTY keyboard which also automatically adapt to display rotation. It also has a dedicated media bar touch key for immediate and easy access to music, the gallery sharing and going online, along with a dedicated Contacts bar touch key with direct access to contacts, feeds and social networking updates.

The X6 impressively comes with an internal memory of 16 gigabytes and features a micro USB connector for high speed USB 2.0 connectivity with a PC alongside Bluetooth 2.0 with enhanced data rate (EDR), an 3.5mm jack connection for headphones and a TV out for an external video display to a PAL television.

Messaging is made easy with the combined inbox for both text and multimedia messages, as well as support for long (concatenated) text messages and Nokia Xpress audio messaging. Meanwhile, emails are supported with the protocols IMAP, POP and SMTP for any common email accounts to be configured with, while Nokia Email and Mail for Exchange offer a more immediate solution for a novice user.

The OSS web browser allows the user to enjoy the fullness of the Web through HTML, XHTML and WML with full support for HTTP and WAP protocols as well as Javascript for dynamic web pages also. Nokia Mobile search provides a simple and effective search engine for the user too.

It has a dual LED flash with various modes to enhance poor light conditions along with many other modes and features to help produce stunning images and videos in no time at all, plus they can be easily edited by the user also.

The Nokia X6 provides the user with a classically designed handset which has done away with a keypad or QWERTY keyboard in total favour of touch screen technology offering the Nokia features of many other handsets through an intuitive user interface.
