The period of spinsterhood and bachelorhood is a period of waiting or waiting time, it can be describe as the period of waiting upon the Lord for the right man or woman to marry. The waiting period can be somehow painful and equally it is profitable.

Let us evaluate some of these of the pains of the singles;

Emotional Pain: This can result of loneliness, depression, feeling of worthlessness, self-pity, insecurity, and urge for intimacy with the opposite sex and temptation to indulge in immoral act or habit.

Financial Pain: finance play a very critical role in the fulfillment of life's ambition, those that are yet to marry does their possible best to acquire the necessary property for marriage. But when these basic necessities like food, shelter, clothes does not come as expected the singles blame self for lack of help meet.

Psychological Pain: These pains come from the pressure of the parent, friends, neighbors, and fellow workers; fear of ageing, fear of knowing the right person and the fear of losing your beauty and attraction because you thought your flower age is fading away.

The singles need not be afraid of whom to marry, they must pray earnestly and exercise strong faith in God, remaining steadfast and firm in righteous living and God will grant you your heart desire. Whatsoever you may be passing through, rely on God, don't allow your present situation affect your future plan. Marriage is a gradual process so you must approach it with patience.
