Heres an exciting thought: Now that HP will be the driving force webOS

, the worlds largest provider of technology will soon become one of the largest and the most innovative drivers in the Internet space. Palm, as we know, is no slouch when it comes to the right to adopt next-generation Internet technology, the company pushing the edge of what is possible with Web technologies, making it the element of technology precious possession, which is webOS. Sure, the details of redemption are still up, but if HP is introducing the Palm as a semi-autonomous business unit and allows the existing body of engineering to do what they do best, is the future of portable computers my whole lot brighter.
