Few sports allow people to play into their early 70s like golf
. Unlike most things in life, you could play golf for 50 years without ever really mastering the perfect golf swing.
Most people take up a sport or a hobby because they find it relaxing and it gives them a release from everyday life. But why take up a sport like golf which can cause so much frustration.
But with the riches that await perfection, many have to try. Golf lessons surely follow but over time most just try to enjoy the game for what it is. A chance to get out in the fresh air with friends and colleagues and enjoy a good time together.
Which begs the questions, can someone really have the perfect golf swing?
Well most people would say that unless you are a professional, your swing is never perfect. But I disagree. To me the perfect golf swing isn't about being a professional golfer; it's about allowing the game to bring you other benefits in life.
The business world these days look to the golf course for "wooing" potential clients, entertaining guests or rewarding staff. So imagine your boss takes you out for a game and your nothing but a hack. Embarrassment usually follows for both of you and what was suppose to be a fun day out which could end in a promotion can actually do the exact opposite.
Imagine now your a handy golfer, you play with your boss and all is well with both of you enjoying the day and shooting good scores. Surely this is the perfect golf swing? If a person's golf game allows them to get ahead in life, then can't he claim to have the perfect swing?
Being someone in the business world, I know how important it is to make a good impression. Playing quality golf is very important to sustaining my way of life even though I do not make a living from golf directly. Whilst I don't have a professionals swing, my new improved play has helped me to greater riches in my life.
