The Power Of Small Beginnings In Internet Marketing Promotion.

You may have read a previous article where I shared the story of the penny

, which if doubled in value every day would reach 10 m by day 31. Many people would dismiss the penny as insignificant. So would starting out with nothing have the same effect?

Definitely not! the penny may be small and seemingly insignificant but the important point to note is that it is NOT nothing. It is something, very small but definitely something.

Everyone of us started out as a tiny little insignificant dot, which compounded it self over the space of nine months to emerge as a fully formed human being made up of over thirty trillion cells!

The lesson to be learnt is that it is everything has to have a beginning but the size of that beginning is not what is important. What is important is making a start and consistently taking steps to achieve your goal. Success comes form small actions that are taken as opposed to not taken.

How can you improve any aspect of your life in the next year? What huge sacrifices would you have to make to achieve a 100% improvement in say your fitness levels or your finances? In actual fact a very slight change such as improving by just .003% every day for the next year (your don't even have to compound the effort) will give you a 100% improvement in less than one year!

Like alot of other things, this concept of little steps is one we seem to lose from the time we were babies. Take a six month old baby. It can barely sit up and cannot speak. It watches others around it, walking, running and talking. Does it think, 'oh no, I will never be able to do all that'?

No, little by little it works on the skills required to walk. It cannot be taught by an adult, it has to figure out how to walk by itself. Undaunted it starts to crawl, moving on to pulling itself up using the furniture or anything nearby as a prop. Finally it manages to take a step but most often falls again. Does he/she give up? They don't even consider it. And in less than a year, those baby steps have resulted in a mobile child!

So what happens as we grow up? Why are we unwilling to take baby steps and believe that we will succeed in the end? We have lost our faith in that universal truth that simple steps taken over and over again have the power to move mountains.

When working your home business online opportunity, do not get overwhelmed by the amount of work to be done. Give yourself a realistic time frame to achieve your goals. Be consistent with your Internet marketing promotion. Small steps taken daily will compound over time to ensure your success.

Success and greatness are not predetermined by forces outside your control. They start out as a simple choice. We have those choices every day. To do or not to do!
