It is vital that those who desire to tap into their power spend considerable time alone with nothing but their own thoughts. The remarkably successful people in every field take time to commune with themselves. Many people fail to arrive at practical solutions to their problems because they confer with everybody else except themselves. If they only conferred with themselves in the silence, the answers would come to them from God, who knows the answer to every problem. A constructive form of visualization will precede every form of right action. Successful people tap into their creative powers through being alone in the silence, which is where all the power is. Managed solitude pays off. When the mind is peaceful and still, it catches a glimpse of the greater good. Meditation requires strict self-discipline.

Removing oneself from the day-to-day hustle and bustle of the job, the phone, the appointments, the Blackberry, the e-mail, the errands, the children, the spouse, the household chores, cooking, preparing for the next day, etc. requires discipline. To actually find the time to be alone with oneself can be invigorating and revitalizing. Silence is a healing, soothing, healthy practice. A very effective technique for obtaining peace is to practice emptying the mind. Practice emptying your mind of worry, frustration, doubt, fear, or insecurities. Make a decision right now to set some time aside each day to be completely alone, undisturbed, and free from distractions and interruptions. Your meditation can be strategic or undirected.

In strategic meditation, focus on a specific problem or ideal. Study the ideal or the problem as detailed as you can. If you are seeking a solution, be receptive to the solution and it will come to you. If you are meditating on an ideal, begin to visualize it and mentally see yourself as having it. This will bring the thing near to you. Meditation is connecting the real to the ideal and then receiving insight. Visualize yourself to success. In undirected meditation, you are simply allowing your mind to think about whatever it wants. Let the arbitrary thoughts come out. This is how you empty your mind. You will learn a lot about yourself this way. Once your mind is empty of haphazard thoughts, you can then focus your concentration on a particular ideal or desire.


Consistent visualization through meditation strengthens the mind. When one begins his or her morning or ends his or her day through strategic meditation, it directs the way in the right direction. Meditation frees the mind to think the thoughts desired. Through meditation, one can easily identify negative thoughts and dismiss them accordingly. Arbitrary thoughts are recognized and allowed to pass out of the mind through meditation. The body is relaxed and full control of the physical being is secured. An inflow of energy and power is acquired through meditation. Patience is received and calmness is developed through this process. When one begins to make meditation a habitual action in their life, that person walks with a certain "something" that others see but can not put their hand on. That "something" is called POWER, and can be acquired only in the silence. Power is a silent force that grows stronger as you recognize it and use it for good. It comes when you are at repose. Vigilance is critical during this time. When the mind is empty, something else will enter. It is imperative that once you have freed your mind of unfruitful thoughts, you refill it with thoughts of power, peace, love, success, prosperity and joy.

Like attracts like in the mental and spiritual world. Your thoughts, words and visions are magnets that attract things that are of the same nature of your thought. People, circumstances, and events are arranged in the universe compelling themselves toward you because of the magnetic force exuding from you. When your thought is full of conviction, vitality, and energy, the force going out is strong and things come to you faster. The quality of your thought is the measure of your power. If there is nothing in you to draw towards, nothing can be magnetized to you. There must be a two-way flow going out and coming in. If you are constantly thinking, imaging, feeling, visualizing, meditating, and discussing a specific aspiration,you are creating in the mental and spiritual world those elements that will cause that desire to be attracted to you. When you can see it when you visualize, then it already exists as a real thing in the invisible world. You have already created it with your mind. As you continue to see it in thought and vision, the desire becomes clearer and the strength and force of it becomes stronger. There is now something in your inner world that goes out with magnetic force attracting that desire back to you. That is how it always works. Happy Meditating!
