We have all heard the hype about the Law of Attraction right? Basically it's the theory that ANYTHING you can think to put your mind to, you can make occur. For example, if you desire to get a promotion at work, you write it down as your goal and spend time each day thinking and visualizing yourself achieving the goal. And seemingly like magic, you get the promotion! It may be in a few weeks to a few months, but it happens! This is "the secret" summed up. It is also called the law of attraction, and there are infinite amounts of information available about it online and in books if you'd like to find out more.

My goal here however, is not to convince you to believe in the law of attraction (although I am a firm believer myself and recommend it to everyone I love, like, or meet on the street), my goal is to convince you to TRY and use positive thinking techniques to clear your acne for good.

I know it would be EASIER if there were just a magic pill to take, or if a miracle acne cream was discovered, but that is just not the case. Admit it. You have tried lots of different products and spent even more money - and you still have your bad skin! Why keep trying products over and over? What if it's YOU that's doing something wrong, not the product? What if it's your DOUBTS about a product not working that causes it not to work? Now we're really on to something.

Have you ever noticed how a negative person views the world in a pessimistic light, and bad things just keep happening to them only to perpetuate their negativity? Then you look at an optimistic person, and they keep getting good fortune after good fortune?

What if we have been sufferers of acne for so long that our brains have been "trained" into thinking that we will always have bad acne? We get excited about a product that might work, but at the same time in the back of our minds we know (think) we have always had and always will have bad acne.

Let's think for a minute about what happens in your mind after you eat a sugary treat. You feel a sense of guilt and dread and stress knowing that the excess sugar intake is going to make you break-out. Sure enough, the next morning you've broken out, and you become miserable and swear to yourself never to eat that sugary goodness again! But did the food really cause the acne, or did your anxiety about the food cause the acne? And why doesn't your friend, who ate the exact same treat, why didn't they have a break-out?
