ArticlesBase is an excellent article directory which not only helps you to build
back links to your website or blog, but a good amount of free traffic as well. It is a newer directory, but the benefits of writing for them are just as great as with other article directories. Here are some of the pros and cons that you can expect when writing and submitting your articles to ArticlesBase.
The Pros
Multiple Authors. ArticlesBase only allows you to have 1 account, but you can set up different author profiles under that one account if you write under different author names in different markets. This is very beneficial and can save you a lot of time as you can see all your article stats in one place, and under one account.
Six Links. Unlike most article directories, ArticlesBase allows you to add up to 6 links along with your article. The rule is that you can put up to 3 links in your article and 3 links into your resource box. The only downfall however, is that in order for your links to count as back links they cannot be contextual. This rule applies to both the links in the article as well as the links in the resource box.
Promoting Your Articles. ArticlesBase will display all of your latest articles on your profile page. You can then create a widget to place on your website or blog to help drive even more traffic to your articles.
Training. ArticlesBase is great at providing you with basic training that will help you to write high quality articles.
Many Categories. They also have a lot of categories and subcategories to help you to place your articles in the right place for optimum views and more targeted traffic. Targeted traffic is essential as it converts better so that you can make more money.
The Cons
Not as Many Clicks. There really are not any cons that I can think of, except for the fact that some of my articles have not gotten that many views and click-throughs as in some of the other article directories that I submit too.
Nevertheless, ArticlesBase is a great article directory that will help you to drive more targeted traffic to your blog or website. The more articles that you write for them the more views you will get, and thus the more free traffic you will be able to generate.
