. They have a wide range of categories to help you to place your article into a targeted category so that it will get read by others. There are many pros of writing for EzineArticles and perhaps maybe even a few cons as well.

They allow you to place up to 2 links into your resource box to help you to get traffic to 2 different websites. From my experience with numerous article directories, EzineArticles tends to send me the most traffic.

Multiple Authors. You are only allowed to create 1 EzineArticles account, but you can write under the name of several different authors. From your account you can see all the stats for all the different author names that you write under.

Training. EzineArticles does a good job to provide you with training to help you to perfect your writing skills.

Title Suggestions. When it comes to article marketing, it can be tough to come up with new ideas to write on a daily basis. EzineArticles helps to make this easier for you with a new title suggestion tool. You simply choose a category, subcategory and a keyword, and the tool will suggest titles for you to write about. This way you will never have to run out of ideas again.

Cool Contests. Unlike most article directories, EzineArticles puts together cool contests which you can take part in and win cool prizes. But what is great about these contests is that everyone wins. If you write the required amount of articles within the required time-frame, then you will win a prize.

The Cons

High Standard. I could hardly call this a con, but they do have a high standard and they will reject your articles if they do not meet their standards.

No Affiliate Links. EzineArticles is strict on affiliate links in your article or resource box. If you have an affiliate product that you are promoting then you need to create a landing page on your own website or blog and redirect your readers from there to the affiliate product. Again, I wouldn't call this a con, as it keeps the spammers away.

Therefore there really are not any cons, as the rules are there for your benefit. So you have nothing to lose, but everything to gain when you start writing for EzineArticles.
