No Fees. The best part about getting free traffic is the fact that there are no fees involved. Having to buy all of your traffic could soon cause your online business to fail. Thus finding ways to get free traffic is your best way to grow your business.

Targeted. Free traffic is not always very targeted. However, when you spend some time doing article marketing or writing on writing platforms, you can get lots of highly targeted traffic. In addition, article marketing will help you to rank higher in the search engines so that they will also send you targeted traffic.

Higher Page Rank. When generating free traffic, you are basically building back links. Whether you are in the forums, writing articles for article directories, or using social media, you are building back links. The more back links you have, the higher your site will rank in the search engines.

Ongoing. Most free traffic is ongoing. This means that when you write an article, a blog post or stick your link in a forum, the traffic will not stop coming. The only way the traffic would cease is if your link gets buried under other content. Time Consuming. From my experience, the only con of getting lots of free traffic is that it can be time consuming. You have to take the time to market your website or blog until the cows come home.

There are many ways that you can market your site and the more methods you use, the steadier your traffic will be.

There are many sites online that will help you to get lots of free traffic. These include social media or networking sites, writing platforms, article marketing, as well as through forum participation. But the great thing is, even though it takes a long time to generate free traffic the end results are ongoing and very good.
