The Pros and Cons of Google Adsense

Google Adsense is a good way to earn a residual income online

. The ads are easy to set up, and the money you make depends on the amount of traffic you have coming to your website. My personal experience with Adsense has been great thus far, and there are many benefits that this program has to offer you. Here are some of the pros as well as a few cons.

Pros

Easy Money. Google Adsense is one of the easiest ways that you can earn a residual income. All you have to do is create a website, drive traffic and put up some ads and you can begin to make money almost immediately. Thus Google does not require any extra work on your behalf.

Good Money. Adsense also allows you to earn a good residual income. There are many internet marketers who make their living off of Adsense alone. However, in order for you to make the most out of this, you need to do a keyword research so that you can develop your content around high paying keywords. The Google Keyword tool will help you to do this so that you do not have to waste your time writing for markets that will not pay you.

Customized Ads. One thing that I really love about Google is that they allow you to customize your ads to fit the rest of your colors on your website. This helps the ad to blend in with your content so that it will not distract your readers or turn them away.

Cons

Not Available in All Countries. One of the main complaints that I have heard against Adsense is that they do not pay publishers in all countries. I do not know why they would be selective, but perhaps there is not enough business in certain countries, and thus it is not worth it for them. However, as the internet grows, perhaps they will reconsider and pay everyone who wants to be a publisher.

No Second Chance. Adsense is very strict in the sense that you do not abuse the system. If you are caught then they will suspend you from the program. But the real kicker is the fact that once you have been suspended you don't have a second chance. They will not reconsider your application again.

Therefore you should take the time to read over their rules and regulations so that you can abide by them, as it really is a great program to be a part of.
