Diamonds are considered to be the Girl's Best Friend as they remain with a lady permanently, even when others part from for some reasons. There are no specific Sociological factors which attract the women community as whole for diamonds. The woman, always regard diamonds as the decisive aid for emphasizing their beauty. With the dazzling appearance provided by the diamonds, the women grab the attention of the males and keep them fascinated. Often with the possession of diamonds, the women try to take the supremacy. There are many historical anecdotes which tell about numerous instances where the desires for the precious stones i.e. diamonds have resulted in bloody wars. During those days the diamonds were yielded sufficient influence to commence the war and to conclude peace when glory of fate interpreted power. There was a practice where the gallant warriors offered those pieces of dazzling stones on the feet of the women. This is how they used to share the conquest of war. Whatever may be the cause but the diamonds always allure and remained the first love of the woman.

we observe the drastic change in the society and there is also transformation in the aspiration of the women folk but their penchant towards the diamonds remained unaffected. There is still a belief among the women of todays era that the diamonds are and they will remain the best pal of a girl, only the outlook has altered. For todays independent and sagacious women these precious stones are not just to emphasize their outer beauty, but it has now considered as a symbol of liberation; both financial and social. Women now flaunt with womanhood it is no longer used only to attract the attention of their male attention counterparts.
