I work for a beauty business and we have decided to have a stall at the next festival which is taking place near our shop
. We decided that we would offer a few mini treatments at great prices so that people decide to treat themselves whilst out for the day. Ive done similar things before and theyve been a great success and its a great way to get people interested in your business and new clients on bored. If nothing else its a fun day where we can all have lots of fun and make new friends.
We decided that we would sort out screen hire so that we could create different areas so that people can have their treatment in privacy and relax as much as possible. The screen hire boards are about 1.8 metres so we should need many which is good as were only arriving in a small van.
We also thought it would be a funny little treat to sort out red carpet hire so that people feel like theyre really getting the celebrity feel. Its only a silly little thing but as the red carpet hire doesnt cost much we thought it was make people smile.
I havent arranged it yet but I thought we could also sell little pamper packs and vouchers for people who dont want to stop or people who need a gift idea for someone.
I love festivals and I think its a great atmosphere; you can have a great weekend and there is often really nice food to eat in nice weather with nice music. Id strongly recommend taking your business to a festival or outdoor event. I can assure you youll not only have a great time but youll make lots of new business too.
Im hoping that we will get a little lift in sales as with the economic downturn recently people have been cutting back and not treating themselves as much, which is never good for business. Hopefully at great prices on a lovely weekend that they wont be able to resist the treatments right underneath their noses.
