, and the name of Mark Birnbaum comes to mind. A partner at the EMM group, this famous hospitality magnate is responsible for bringing some revolutionary partying changes in New Yorks nightlife.

The seeds of his success were shown as a promotions director in 1998, when he launched a large nightclub in Ithaca with an area of 22,000 sq yards. Then in 2002, Mark Birnbaum started his nightlife consulting company Operative Inc. that was responsible for the launch of the famous nightclub the Lobby. This endeavor turned out to be successful with Mark being hired to oversee the promotions, public relations and launch of AER Lounge. This lounge garnered immense amount of popularity with Conde Nast traveler touting it as one of the best nightclubs in the world.

The company EMM Group came in to existence in 2006 and since then it has made a strong reputation for itself in the nightlife & hospitality industry, celebrity procurement and lifestyle management along with managing various events.

Along with his two partners Eugene Remm and Michael Hartenstein, Mark has made EMM Group a fortune worth of billions of dollars. The EMM group has many lounges, restaurants and a house in Sag Harbor that is used for hosting high profile parties for the clients like VH1 and the famous Gossip Girl series.

Tenjune, SL and the Chandelier Room are the names on everyones lips as these lounges are famous for hosting the most famous parties with prolific celebrities and sports stars rubbing shoulders with the crowd. The Tenjune is their most famous venture which is named after Mark Birnbaum and Eugene Remms shared birthdays i.e. on 10 June.

Along with the nightlife business, the EMM Group also has a chain of restaurants offering a good wining & dining experience at Abe & Arthur, Catch, and Lexington Brass.
