For the Indian market the car will be equipped with sub 1.2 litre petrol and a 1.5litre diesel. All the engines will have enough force, decent response and neatly refined.

Practicality: Overall the old Renault Clio had some packaging problems while the new Renault Clio has certainly made away with any such issues and is a lot more spacey compared to its older versions. The car easily houses adults at the rear and they too can move in the car with ease even in three door models.

Running costs: Most of the Clios, excluding the 197 hot hatch, are all easily insurable and the running costs are also very wallet friendly for the average user. The high torque diesel engines version manages 69 bhp, and most importantly the cars have a good resale value for a small car.
