For an even greater retro effect, the programmers continued in the vein of the first Zuma release and developed the game around the idea of an exotic Central American theme. Indeed, this aspect of the game almost has a pulp fiction feel to it that dates further back than even the earliest of true arcade games.

The popularity of Lunar Lander as a computer game goes back to its early release for computers in the 1980s, after a 1979 arcade release. However, one could probably find several versions of this old arcade game online today. With a focus on realistic gravity, the game simulates a landing on the moon using only the most basic of vector line drawings. However, this is representative of most old arcade games online. They show the world that something does not at all need to be fancy to be fun.
