The Right Sure Fit Slip Cover For Your Room

One of the great benefits of a slip cover is the versatility it offers you in designing your room

. Unlike the sofa's natural skin, it allows you to change the look regularly. With a sofa, you are stuck with the color and will have to reupholster if you want to redesign your room or buy a new sofa altogether. That is very expensive and of course, that is not environment-friendly.

Using a slip cover is really the cheaper and more environment-friendly alternative. This is why I fell in love with slip covers, I like that it changes with me. When I am sick with a certain look, I just change the slip cover and there it is, a new room.

Most of the slip covers I own are really custom made. I like making sure that the slip cover fits my furniture perfectly. I have it for my bed and of course my sofa. I have several sets.

I have a black one which is really unusual for a lot of people. I put it on the room that has all white walls. All the other pieces of furniture are also white. The study table, where all work is done, is also white. The lamp is white, the pillows are white, the carpet is off-white and only the sofa is black when I put on the black slip cover.

The other one that I have is blue, navy blue. When I put this on, I use multi-colored slip covers for the pillow and I throw in a colored cloth for the table as well. This instantly gives the room a different feel without adding other pieces of furniture and or taking anything out. The versatility and neatness of the white walls and other white furniture keeps the class of the room even with that many color.

When I feel like going for a rock star look for that month, then I just use the slip cover with heavy rock star prints on it. It is actually black an artwork printed on it. I use that room not only as an office but also as a music room. I play my guitar there and my organ is also there. So I just bring out the guitars out of the bags and that's it, I have my rock star room. I also change the curtains to those black blinds that I spray painted with my own artwork.
