Everyone knows how much Timmy loves Kathy

Everyone knows how much Timmy loves Kathy. During their school days, you can always find him gazing at her, whether it was in class, in the canteen, or in a friends party. But the thing that got to everyone was, after the gazings, all they heard were the sighs. Timothy simply just couldnt find the needed courage to tell her how he felt about her. But time couldnt wait for him that long, seasons had to pass. So did the school days. They were over before Timmy could muzzle up the nerves to let Kathy know. But Kathy did know. And she was just waiting for Timmys move. That too everyone knows. But to everyones disappointment, there were no moves. And it was time for everyone to go home.

That was some years ago. But now, fate has given Timothy another chance. He ran into Kathy a couple of days ago. Kathy is in town for business but shell be around only for about a month. He had asked her out for dinner tonight. He knows that it is a now or never situation for him. He will just have to say something. Once again, he still cant find the courage. Suddenly he thought of a way to send her the message without saying anything. He decided to give her a gift. Then shell know, he said to himself. But the problem was that he did have that much money on him, besides, hell also be taking care of the bill at the restaurant tonight. But he also wants to give Kathy something that shell love. He then opened his laptop and browses through the internet. He must fine something.

Timmy is now driving back to his flat. He had just dropped Kathy off at her hotel. He is wearing a big smile on his face. This evening, during dinner, he had given Kathy a beautiful sterling silver heart shaped ring. It wasnt much but, actually, he himself like it when he first saw it. But he wasnt sure whether Kathy would. To top it up, after giving the ring, words came out of nowhere, Kathy, will you marry me? But right after saying those words, he felt that the whole world was going to fall over him. How could he just propose right away like that and with such a simple ring?

But the world did not come down on Timmy. It seems that Timmy had discounted Kathy. Kathy had always loved him. It was he who never found the courage to make the first move. He now knows that genuine love is meant to be expressed. And Kathy wasnt looking at the price tag of the ring she was given either. She just looked at the message behind it. All girls may love to own a pink diamond ring. But there are more important things for most girls. Timmy just cant get rid of the smile on his face. He keeps seeing the images of Kathy kissing the ring and waving him goodbye. He is going to be a married man soon.
