We have seen a lot of genius inventors over the past few years and they have changed over lives a lot

. A lot of developments have been done in the aviation industry too, and a huge contributor to it is Clyde Cessna. He showed excellent desire and ability. This coupled with his natural ability made master pieces like Cessna airplanes.

Cessna has been a forefather in the history of aviation and he was the pioneer of the growth in aircraft industry. Had he been not there, we would have never seen so much jet planes, experimental aircraft, antique aircraft, or any other plane. This man was started the Cessna Aircraft Company but even before this, Cessna used to spend a lot of time building his own planes. Then he developed a passion for developing crafts on a bigger scale and hence he started the company. The first Cessna aircraft started flying on August 13th, 1927.

The concept of airplane started with monoplane initially; it used a wing without any supporting braces or struts. After that, Cessna designed and manufactured some of the most advanced jet planes that man ever saw. It is also interesting to note that every aircraft that Cessna designed was ahead of its time. No other competitor could get even close to what Cessna was doing.

Today, Cessna makes all kinds of jets like single engine prop, utility turbo props, business jets, etc. They make offer aircrafts for sale to governments. The cost of these planes is very high and hence a normal individual cannot afford it easily. Some of the most common models in single engine models are Cessna 150, Cessna 172, Cessna 152, Cessna 400, Cessna 182, Cessna 210, Cessna 206 and Cessna 310. These designs have paved the way for the manufacturer to make higher quality jets which have better technology and higher power.

Till date, Cessna has made and sold about 190,000 aircrafts all over the world. Single engine aircrafts enjoy a lions share amongst this. These types of planes have dominated the market in the past and it seems they will have a strong hold in near future too.

Cessna still is a dominating name in the industry because of their constant developments in the performance and design. This is not unexpected, the minds of scientist and developers has reached unexpected heights in the past ten years. We have now have expectations every time a new Cessna aircraft is announced.
